About the CLD - Mission

The Government of Québec entrusts the legal responsibility for the socioeconomic development of Regional County Municipalities (RCM) to Local Development Centres (CLD).

Accordingly, the CLD Beauharnois-Salaberry is dedicated to the socioeconomic development of the Beauharnois-Salaberry RCM with a view to creating and sustaining local jobs and increasing the region’s collective wealth. The organization’s mission is to create, sustain and promote a climate that is conducive to such development, to stimulate entrepreneurship, and to provide the necessary means and services to new investors and socioeconomic project initiators, including social economy businesses.
